I loved this class! Azumi is an incredibly talented person. Her teaching style is perfect because I had fun while learning a lot too. Her personal and education background is quite fascinating and incredibly rare, so I felt very fortunate to be taught by her.
I had a wonderful afternoon with Azumi: serene, creative and educative. I learned to consider space when arranging flowers. I relished the lessons learned about flexing and positioning structural plants. And then, to toddle off home with my creation made my heart sing even more happily. Thank you to my girlfriends who gifted me this memorable afternoon.
What a beautiful, serene and wonderful experience! Having received a voucher to do the ikebana from my adult children, I was not sure what to expect. I love flowers, consider myself fairly creative, but this took me beyond anything I could have expected. Azumi teachers the class or should I say guides you through the experience with such beauty and grace that you feel you have learned not only a piece of ancient and contemporary Japanese culture, but you desperately want to know more. One of the most beautiful, inspiring sessions I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. I will most definitely going back to learn more.
