This class was a Mother's Day gift to my mother and myself. We had a fabulous time and came home with a beautiful (if a little wonky -mine!) work of art. The work space was clean, clear, and inviting and Azumi was very welcoming greeting us with tea and Japanese cakes.
Azumi is very knowledgeable - we gained an insight into how this is not just about decoration, but like bonsai, it's also about preservation.
Azumi's demonstration and instructions were easy to follow and the other participants were friendly, we chatted and laughed and even though mine looks more like a pineapple than an apple, I really love my piece of living art.
This was the most delightful setting and wonderful course to be part of. Azumi's sense of hospitality and generous teaching ways made for the most enjoyable afternoon of learning. It felt very special to take home a complete little work of natural art as well as the skill and knowledge to nurture and sustain it for years to come. I look forward to attending more courses with Azumi.
